At Germantown Union Cemetery, we are committed to preserving the dignity and longevity of your loved one’s memorial. All upright monuments require a concrete foundation, which must be installed within the boundaries of the grave space(s) you own. To ensure protection and stability, we include a 3-inch border around each monument. Please consider this when selecting your monument size. For example, a single 40-inch grave space can accommodate a monument up to 34 inches wide to account for the protective border.

To begin the process of ordering a foundation for your upright monument or installing a flush mount/military marker, please complete our request form. This form initiates your request, and our dedicated cemetery staff will review it within two business days. We will contact you to finalize the order and arrange payment.
